St. Jerome, Pray for Us!

Today is the feast day of St. Jerome, patron saint of libraries and librarians.  He was a scholar, a doctor of the Church, and translated the Bible from the original Hebrew.

Fun fact:  I submitted my application to library school on this day five years ago.  I asked St. Jerome for his prayers!

I'm excited to start another school year!  Over the summer I got lots of new books, and I hope you'll check them out :)

New Books for a New Year!
