Accounts for Destiny

Students AND teachers: I got all the usernames and passwords set up for the new library system.  Your username will be your Renweb username (unless for some reason you don't have a RW username...there are a handful of you.  Your Destiny UN will be your first initial and last name), and the password will be jp2.  You can log into your account to use the catalog, check to see what you have checked out, write reviews for books, place holds on items, and more.  I am going to give prizes to people who write (appropriate) reviews for books!  Come see me to find out more! 

New Library System!

Y'all may have noticed that the library has been closed a few times in the past week.  I am in the beginning stages of introducing our new library management and catalog system, and I've been in several trainings.  I am still working out all the details, but for now, you can click the link at the top of this page to access the catalog (it says NEW Library Catalog), so that you can search for books.  Eventually, you will each have an account so that you can log in and see what you have checked out, place holds on books, and more.  I am really excited about this! (And I don't have to do laptop checkout on paper anymore, whew!!)

Hello, Guardians!

I hope you all had a fantastic summer, and are all ready to be back in school, working hard, having fun, making good choices :)

This semester I will be switching library management programs (the way we search the catalog), and I am really excited!  This new program will have much better search abilities, as well as a way to use e-books (sometime in the future).  Stay tuned for more updates--the switch should be complete in mid-September. 

In the meantime, I can't wait to see what this school year brings!  Let's make it a good one!
