I want to let you all know that I am SO very thankful for every one of you.  You have made my first semester here so much fun and I have learned a lot from all of you.  I hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving, and I will see you all Monday! 

Catholics Come Home

Those of you who attended the Guardian's Gala last night had the pleasure of hearing Tom Peterson, founder of Catholics Come Home, speak to us about evangelizing and bringing other Catholics back to the church.  After the Gala, he was autographing his book, and we received a generous donation of a signed copy of the book.  His message to all of us:

John Paul II Students--love somebody to heaven! 

This is a wonderful message for all of us to remember. 

A Milestone!

Good news!  As of today, we have 1,500 items in the catalog, ready to be checked out!  Every item in the library has been donated to us by your family, friends, and generous members of the community who want you to have a fabulous library!  The number of books grows every week, but I'm really excited to be at 1,500!

In honor of Thanksgiving, this month the library tree is dedicated to counting our blessings.  Stop by Ms. Phelan's desk, pick a leaf, write down something you are thankful for, and add it to the tree!  Let's fill the tree with thanks!
